Job Summary:
Distribution Clerk is responsible for meeting and maintaining company service standards in a team environment including Monogram and Non-Monogram orders. The Distribution Clerk position is located in Litchfield Park, AZ. You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will: Prepare outbound (OB) shipment documentations per the Load Plan. Create and Maintain the Shipping Map of all planned outbound (OB) shipments. Coordinate with Shipping and Dock Leads on trailer closure deadlines, system updates, and carton/inventory invoicing. Partner with the Yard Dispatch on trailer moves, requests and resolving issues. Maintain daily the WorldShip processing area to include creating UPS shipments, recording tracking information, and relaying the information to the appropriate parties. Repackage/process damages and dispositions to designated areas. Research the exceptions cartons in Personal Knowledge Management System (PKMS) and disposition appropriately by company guidelines. Create shipments for the Stock Withdrawals and other Corporate Requests as needed. Serve as a "back-up" person when needed on the Shipping Mezzanine for the Sorter Operators and/or line jamming. Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates: High School Diploma or Equivalent. At least 6 months warehouse/distribution setting with similar responsibilities. Must be a self-starter and a team player. Have working knowledge of Excel and Outlook. Able to work flexible schedule. Able to read and match numbers. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Able to train new associates in the departments processes and procedures during high volume periods. Available to work in various departments and buildings as needed. Focus on maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. We prefer some of these qualities as well: At least 1-year experience in a warehouse/distribution setting with similar responsibilities. Have working knowledge of Pick Ticket Management System (PKMS) and Crystal reporting. Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role: Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders. Able to lift up to 65lbs. Comfortable walking/standing 90% of the day.
