What they do
A Shipping or Receiving Clerk tracks all incoming and/or outgoing shipments at a company facility and checks that shipment orders are filled correctly. Uses scanning equipment to track inventory. Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.

Shift Days/Hours:
Monday-Friday- 8-hour shifts.
Scope:
Handle the following- Receive, unpack, check & verify merchandise/product ensuring accuracy. As needed take receiving exceptions. Utilize handheld RF tools to receive merchandise/products into WMS. Conduct the following
- Stock checks, part # verification, Cycle Count, support physical inventory. Consolidate loads as required
- Pack, Re-Pack, wrap product for shipping.
Required:
Experience in the automotive industry in some fashion. Examples are Associates in automotive parts specialist, wholesale parts at dealerships, parts to service, body shop work, military, large automobile manufacturers, etc. Experienced in positions such as- parts advisor, parts specialist, inventory technician, materials handlers, parts coordinator, etc. Experience with a DMS (Dealer Management System)
- CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, Oracle JDE, Lightspeed, etc. (SAP experience would be great but not required). Experience and comfortability working around technicians. Experience and ability working with pallet jacks
- Forklifts are not required.
