Shipping/Receiving Clerk Times Microwave Systems - 2.7 Mesa, AZ Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Qualifications Order shipping High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Math Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Summary The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for the receiving and shipping of parts, stock, equipment and materials required for the effective and efficient operations of the facility. Maintains organization and cleanliness of the shipping department. Handles routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receives parts and materials. Compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment. Inspects incoming parts and materials and other shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and accepts or rejects in accordance with company policies. Logs equipment and parts into computer system. Completes all documents, forms and reports in accordance with company policy. Retrieves parts from inventory on request or if the requested parts are not in inventory notifies Supervisor or appropriate parts department personnel. Places all parts and materials in appropriate area or delivers parts as needed, logs inventory and delivery in accordance with company policies. Prepares and ships material as required. Organizes and maintains shipping area according to company standard. Establishes and maintains logical locations for all parts and equipment. Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environment. Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent education. Effective experience in a shipping department and manufacturing environment. Experience with UPS and FedEx shipment software a plus. Good Math Skills with ability to count and measure.
