Job Overview 1st Shift - Monday-Friday (some Saturdays) We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse operations team. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for coordinating the shipment and receipt of goods, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining seamless shipping processes. This role is vital in supporting efficient warehouse distribution, inventory management, and compliance with shipping regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency with warehouse management systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and process shipping documentation using inventory management software. ensuring accuracy and compliance with trade regulations. Coordinate the picking, packing, and labeling of orders to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently. Manage shipping & receiving activities, including tracking shipments, updating inventory records, and resolving discrepancies. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control. Maintain accurate data entry records within warehouse management systems. Ensure all shipments comply with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Assist in maintaining safety protocols during load & unload operations to promote a secure work environment. Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly. Support warehouse operations by performing basic math calculations for weights, measurements, and quantities as needed. Qualifications Proven experience working in warehouse operations or logistics environments; prior experience as a Shipping Clerk is preferred. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and international trade regulations. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping. Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately. Effective communication skills for customer service interactions and team collaboration. Familiarity with trade compliance standards and international trade regulations is advantageous.
