POSITION SUMMARY:
Front Desk/ Backroom Floor Associates are one of the most important roles in improving customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Often times they are the first contact with the customers, and are responsible for making a good impression and improving reputation. Some of their duties include visual merchandising procedures, receiving trucks, ensemble merchandise, shipping, customer pick up's, answering customer questions, offering customer support, recovery of the sales floor, guiding and advising customers, keeping the front office clean and representative, help clients with carry outs, following the company's guidelines and procedures.
Objective :
Front Desk/ Floor Representative possesses a pleasant and friendly personality, to join our team! As a Front Desk Representative, you will be responsible for different receptionist and clerical duties at our office. As the front-line-employee, your role will be extremely important for improving customer experience and satisfaction. Your goal should always be to make our guests feel comfortable and satisfied while in our office. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations or retail store environments with knowledge of inventory management. pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and inventory accuracy. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and load/unload procedures. Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse team collaboration. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying stock quantities. Knowledge of retail product knowledge, merchandising, packaging, and shipping & receiving processes. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and safe lifting practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Strong customer service orientation to support store operations seamlessly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

WORKS DIRECTLY AND UNDER THE SUPERVISON OF STORE MANAGER.
  • Walk-thru assigned floor area and identify merchandise displaying challenges, rearranged merchandise to make it presentable to the consumers.
  • Ensures all merchandise shows accurate pricing tags, replaces damaged tags or prints out new ones.
  • Verifies that all merchandise and accessories are positioned correctly ( sofa seat covers, cushions, comforters properly spread out and neatly arranged, pillows neatly displayed, tables and Chairs properly lined up and displayed)
  • Ensures sales floor lighting is in working condition, lamps must be turned on, replaces light bulbs as required, ensures all electrical outlets, and electrical wiring is operable, hid away, or properly covered to ensure safety for all guests .
  • Ensures that all
MERCHANDISE WITH SOLD TAG
, gets removed from sales floor, taken to warehouse, gets properly wrapped up in plastic, and verifies that sold merchandise is being replaced with new items.
  • Floor associate ensures that there are "
NO EMPTY SPACES
" in the sales floor and brings up those issues up to manager for further action and final resolution.
  • In charge of MT Process, diligently request MT from manager, identifies, prepares and sets merchandise to be transferred.
  • Floor associate walks thru sales floor identifying all accessories in need to be re-arranged, replaces sold or missing accessories, verifies to take down all SOLD ACCESSORIES, and take them to the warehouse to be prep.
  • Employee is responsible for receiving trucks, help to unload, ensembles merchandise, takes merchandise out onto the sales floor to be displayed according to company's guidelines, and prior to Manager's approval.
  • Handles customer order purchases by processing invoice orders, relieving merchandise from inventory through company OS, and pulling plus loading merchandise to customers.
  • Series of inventory spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Prepping paperwork for shipping and receiving merchandise.
  • Maintaining order and organization on both electronics and appliance showroom.
  • Setting up and making proper installations for all merchandise to be displayed as floor model.
  • Receiving and processing Purchase Orders that arrive to store location.
  • Assisting sales personnel and customers with any questions regarding electronical and appliance units.
  • Strong sense of Responsibility with having keys to access certain displays and storage rooms.
  • To be able to carry a situation in a professional manner when a customer appears with a problem or with an angry attitude.
  • Handles customer order purchases by processing invoice orders, relieving merchandise from inventory through company OS, and pulling plus loading merchandise to customers.
  • Series of inventory spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Prepping paperwork for shipping and receiving merchandise.
  • Maintaining order and organization on both electronics and appliance showroom.
  • Setting up and making proper installations for all merchandise to be displayed as floor model.
