Job Description

Shipping Clerk Pay Rate:

$19.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, processing, and coordinating outgoing shipments to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time. Duties include picking, packing, labeling, and verifying orders; preparing shipping documentation; scheduling carriers; and maintaining shipment records. The Shipping Clerk inspects products for quality, confirms quantities, and ensures all packages meet company and carrier requirements. Additional responsibilities include operating warehouse equipment as authorized, tracking shipments, resolving shipping discrepancies, and communicating with warehouse staff, carriers, and customers regarding delivery status. The role requires maintaining an organized work area, following safety procedures, and supporting inventory control processes. Qualified candidates should have strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous warehouse, logistics, or shipping experience is preferred. The position may require standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working independently or as part of a team to meet daily shipping goals. UPS or FedEX shipping management platform experience 1+ years of warehouse shipping experience
