Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to support warehouse receiving operations while providing professional customer service to clients dropping off or picking up items. This role combines traditional warehouse logistics with public-facing guest relations, ensuring a seamless, polite, and efficient experience while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Schedule:
Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm Key Responsibilities Verify incoming deliveries by comparing packing slips and bills of lading against purchase orders to confirm correct items and quantities. Inspect received merchandise for damage, shortages, or discrepancies. Accurately enter receipts and inventory data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including SCALE Manhattan. Maintain organized and accurate inventory records. Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve missing, damaged, or incorrect shipments. Assist clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner during item drop-offs and pickups. Support general warehouse and receiving operations as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse and receiving environment is required. Strong data entry and computer skills. Experience with inventory tracking software or WMS systems; SCALE Manhattan experience is preferred. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Strong communication and customer service skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. #CHI123
