Shipping Associate

Wolfsburg West is the ultimate source for Volkswagen Beetle and Bus restoration quality parts. With nearly a half century of high-quality service, we are looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking individual to join our warehouse team as a Shipping Associate. The Shipping Associate plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately processed, packed, and shipped in a timely manner while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently. Track, trace, and update the status of outgoing and incoming shipments. Prepare shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, invoices, and shipping labels. Load and unload freight shipments and organize inventory within the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed. Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, tape guns, and large-scale staplers. Assist with receiving incoming products and verifying shipment accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to improve shipping efficiency and workflow. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and warehouse procedures. Volkswagen knowledge or enthusiasm is a plus.

Requirements:

Previous experience in shipping, warehouse operations, logistics, or fulfillment preferred. Familiarity with shipping software and warehouse systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment:

The Shipping Associate will work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures. This role requires standing, walking, lifting, and moving throughout the shift. Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 / hour
