Job Description
Guittard Chocolate Company is an American-based chocolate maker and has made the world's best chocolate for five generations. We are the oldest continuously family-owned chocolate company in the United States. The company was founded in 1868 and is headquartered in Burlingame, California. The E-commerce Coordinator will receive, organize, and ship our products, manage the product inventory, and ensure the e-commerce area is clean and organized. You will play a key role in supporting sales and marketing in fulfilling online orders and the accuracy of our product shipments. This position is non-exempt, part-time, and reports to the Improvement Manager. Responsibilities Fulfill and ship orders from our online store. Ensure all orders are properly labeled. Perform inventories as needed. Order product and packaging to keep e-commerce area stocked. Ensure proper insulation is used when needed. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Other job-related duties as assigned. Education and Skills High School diploma or GED required. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Can communicate effectively with internal and external customers in person, by phone, and by email or video conference. Previous fulfilment experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy required. Understand food safety and sanitation guidelines. General computer skills. Must be able to work independently. Working Conditions You will work in a manufacturing environment and must adhere to GMP guidelines. Employees are required to wear hair nets and safety shoes. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
