A Day in the Life As a Full-Time Laboratory Assistant based in our Orange, CA Laboratory, you'll step into the lab where every detail matters. You'll play a key role in prepping and handling samples, keeping records accurate, and maintaining a clean laboratory to support on-time results everyday. You'll collaborate with a strong team of committed professionals, contribute to meaningful scientific work, and grow your expertise in a dynamic, quality-driven environment. The compensation range for this role is $17.00•$20.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

Sample Receiving /PUSH Team Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 2nd Shift (2:00 pm•10:30 pm) To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: Preparing and weighing samples for digestion or extraction as needed (includes but is not limited to: weighing soils, making composites, crushing samples, incremental sampling, product sampling, etc) Data entry Facility housekeeping/maintenance Perform support tasks as needed Comply with Enthalpy's Quality Assurance Program and other policies Comply with Enthalpy's Health and Safety Plan Other duties as assigned by the Group Leader or Lab Director Your Expertise and Skills These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here. High School Diploma Basic laboratory techniques (knowledge of PPE, use of balance, pipetting, glassware handling, etc) Basic Excel skills required Must have ability to follow directions and work in a team setting Must be comfortable working with strong acids and solvents Excellent communication skills required Detail oriented Preferred Skills Prior Laboratory experience preferred but not required as this is an entry level position Knowledge of analytical method, analytical instruments, general lab practices and lab safety Ability to work independently and in a team Good organizational skills Work Environment and Physical Requirements The physical and environmental requirements below reflect what's typically needed to perform the essential functions of this role safely and effectively.
