Job Description

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Pure Wafer is the largest U.S. based supplier of virgin silicon wafers, wafer reclaim services and specialty thin film deposition products. Through multiple acquisitions, Pure Wafer has become a consolidation of synergistic segments of the semiconductor supply chain that provides our clients with a comprehensive menu of product offerings. Pure Wafer focuses on creating efficiency for our customer base that includes most of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers. (We are seeking a detail-oriented Strip and Etch Operator to join our team. You'll operate chemical process equipment to strip films and residues from silicon wafers, leaving each one clean and defect-free. This is a hands-on production role and a critical step in our wafer reclaiming process. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well under minimal supervision, and is comfortable staying active and on their feet throughout the shift.)

This position is initially offered on a 1-3-month contract to hire basis; arrangement provides an opportunity for both the candidate and Pure Wafer to assess mutual fit. Successful candidates may be considered for conversion to a permanent employee status following the completion of the contract period. ON BONUS
•POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, including verifying deliveries, inspecting packages, and organizing inventory. Ensures accurate documentation and supports warehouse operations for efficient order fulfillment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy and report discrepancies Properly pack, create labels, and document outgoing shipments including carrier pickup arrangements. Work closely with sales, production, shipping companies, customers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery. Keep the warehouse area organized and clean, conduct regular inventory checks, and ensure materials and supplies are stored properly. Monitor and update status of incoming and outgoing shipments utilizing DHL, FedEx, and UPS systems. Transport wafers to various departments as required Support in loading and unloading of trucks and pallets Respond to email inquiries in a timely manner from internal departments, customers, and vendors regarding shipments, deliveries, and status updates. Provide backup support to department lead and manager as needed, assisting with administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel Organized and productive self-starter Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to effectively manage email communication, and ability to "pick up the phone" to resolve issues Ability to juggle multiple assignments without details falling through the cracks Strong drive for the "right" results Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment Must be able to follow established policies and procedures and comply with regulatory requirements Must have the ability to recognize problems, recommend and implement solutions Must be well organized and possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently Must work well with others and be a team player Must possess a "can-do" attitude Must have the ability and desire to be proactive not just reactive, a questioning mindset
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred) OR one-year related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination or education and experience Understanding of UPS, FedEx, DHL systems (preferred)
