Job Summary:

Our warehouse receiving position ensures that arriving shipments are inspected, sorted and moved to QC for inspection or stocked in the warehouse once they have been released by the Quality Control dept. This is a temp to hire position (after 30 days as a temp you are eligible to be hired on directly) Primary Duties

• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
• Unload packages from incoming trucks
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
• Verify packages according to order, packing slip or invoices
• Notify purchasing dept if a mistake is identified
• Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
• Work very close with other departments when priority items are
• Assist other departments as needed
• Backup for Shipping position Knowledge and Abilities Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position Experience in operating manual and electric pallet jack Computer literate Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data Solid understanding of health and safety regulations Basic math and recording abilities Excellent organizational skills Great communication and interpersonal abilities Keen eye for detail Physical Demands Stand Walk Sit Reach with hands and arms Climb or balance Stoop, kneel, crouch Squatting Talk or hear Lift up boxes Up to 40 pounds Pushing loaded carts Climbing ladders and step ladders Walking up the stairs Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Undersea Systems International, Inc.
