We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Shipping Clerk with an outgoing personality to be a part of our warehouse team. Shipping Clerk Job Description The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for shipping all packed customer orders. Will ensure all shipments are done accurately, cost effectively and with the best quality. This is a fast-paced job that requires the ability to multitask while staying focused. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform the day-to-day operations of the Shipping Department. Ship completed sales orders through Starship. Help ship freight orders. Prepare and print shipping labels and schedule pick-ups. Print shipping documents. Identify the most cost-effective shipping solution for every shipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Track inventory & update records. Document damaged inventory. Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment. Maintain a clean working area. Qualification Requirements Able to use RF scanners. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills. Effective organizational, stress and time management skills. Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. Able to work independently or as a team member. Starship and Sage experience is a plus. Physical Demands and Abilities Occasionally lift 40-50 pounds. Able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving your whole body such as lifting, walking, stopping, pushing, pulling, and handling various materials.
