Responsibilities:
Stockroom:
+Receiving & Storage:
Accept and verify materials from receiving inspection, ensuring quantity, part numbers, and descriptions match paperwork. Organize and store materials neatly using FIFO (First In, First Out) techniques. +Data Entry:
Log received items by part number into the computer system. +Inventory Management:
Conduct daily cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and verify transactions. + Attention toDetail:
Count small parts accurately, using a microscope when necessary, to prevent errors through meticulous work. +Material Handling:
Store and distribute raw materials, component parts, subassemblies, and assemblies to support manufacturing processes. +Production Support:
Issue components to production lines as per schedule, maintaining necessary documentation. +Documentation:
Read and interpret part requests, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and order picking lists. + Standard stockroom duties include receiving and issuing of details as well as spooling (cable).Shipping:
+ Receiving, counting incoming deliveries and generating receiving documents. + Packaging and generating shipping documents for outgoing shipments. + Package items for shipment to foreign destinations including all documentation.Safety & Compliance:
Ensure daily compliance with safety requirements and maintain a clean and organized stockroom.Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in process improvement initiatives.Teamwork & Training:
Exhibit a positive attitude and assist in training other employees as needed.Communication:
Quickly communicate issues to Work Leads, Supervisors, Quality, or Management.Requirements:
