In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are accurately received, inspected, and processed efficiently. Your proactive approach will help maintain seamless warehouse distribution, support order fulfillment, and keep inventory levels precise. In support of the Quality Policy of AMI the Receiving Clerk under the direction of the operations manager is responsible for maintaining AMI's Quality Management System. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for tracking deliveries and troubleshooting order issues with suppliers. The successful candidate will also facilitate the return of damaged products to vendors, and work with our purchasing department to update and negotiate vendor contracts.
Duties:
1. Responsible for following all QMS processes, and procedures. 2. Interpret Pick Lists and Packing Slips 3. Documentation of manufactured products by AMI 4. Obtain and process product deliveries, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company 5. Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis 6. Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments 7. Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers 8. Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems 9. Trouble shoots receiving issues that arise and work to solve them

Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
