This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading a team, managing logistics operations, and verifying the quality and accuracy of materials in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receiving :
Unload trucks, inspect shipments for damage, verify contents against packing slips, and document discrepancies.
Shipping:
Pack, seal, crate, and label outgoing orders. Load trucks and be able to lead a team without supervision.
Quality Assurance :
Able to lead a team to verify dimensions and configuration of incoming / outgoing materials per drawings.
Inventory:
Organize and lead team counts inventory control activities. Work with office staff to resolve count irregularities.
Warehousing:
Lead team efforts to ensure that materials are safely and accurately organized and stored.
Safety:
Assist team in following proper company and OSHA safety practices.
Forklift:
Must have forklift certification and demonstrate competent skills in loading and unloading trucks without supervision.
Measuring Skills:
Competent skills in using various measuring tools and ability to lead these activities.
Computer Skills:
Able to upload and download appropriate data as needed. Competent in Word, Excel, Teams, and email.
Other Tasks:
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor, including managing the team in the absence of the supervisor
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described below must be met with or without reasonable accommodation, in accordance with the ADA and California FEHA. Able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including productivity standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able remain stationary, standing, or crouched for extended periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as required for positioning, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to ascend / descend, or work atop a ladder, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to perform repetitive functions for an extended period of time, with or without reasonable accommodation. May be required to work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. The Company complies with Cal/OSHA Heat Illness Prevention standards (8 CCR §3395 for outdoor and §3396 for indoor places of employment), including water, rest, shade/cool-down areas, acclimatization, and training.
Education, Work Experience, and General Requirements:
Must be able to communicate effectively — verbally and in writing — in the language(s) reasonably necessary to perform the essential functions of the job safely, including understanding safety instructions, equipment labels, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and emergency procedures. Maintain compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including reasonable attendance expectations, subject to rights under applicable federal and California leave and accommodation laws, including but not limited to FMLA, CFRA, California Paid Sick Leave, Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), kin-care, bereavement leave, reproductive loss leave, crime-victim / domestic violence / sexual assault / stalking leave, jury duty and witness leave, voting leave, school-activity leave, and

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a team and complete assignments per instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard practices.
