Shipping & Receiving Associate 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Location:
Ansonia, CT We're looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join a busy manufacturing team in Ansonia, CT. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, is detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping materials organized and moving efficiently. If you have warehouse or shipping experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Load and unload trucks using a forklift or pallet jack. Stage materials for production and outgoing shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Enter shipping and receiving information into the computer system. Organize inventory and maintain a clean, safe warehouse. Work closely with production to ensure materials are available when needed. Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience required. Forklift experience strongly preferred. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems. Ability to read shipping documents and packing slips. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
