Full Job Description Job Description/Purpose:
Saw operator/ Shipping and Receiving Associate is vital to the success of the Profit Center (PC) team, as our products flow through the warehouse. The Shipping and Receiving Manager receives, cuts, routes, fabricates, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.Position Responsibilities:
- Performs daily forklift safety check, reporting and/or correcting safety issues as necessary. Cut all types of plastics to size on a computer saw.
- Safely and effectively drives forklift, operates saws, routers and other equipment as needed.
- Reconciles inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Receiving material
- May assist with cuts routes , loading and unloading machines fabrication and stores and distributes materials
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing and shipping area.
- Uses computer to enter records.
- Prepares all pallets and parcels for mailing and shipping.
