Job Description

PakMail Bradenton is looking for part-time customer service and packing/shipping clerks who enjoy working with the public, have a positive attitude, are good problem solvers, work independently, and are detailed oriented. This may develop into several day a week schedule with typical schedule hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm, most of which would be on your feet. Saturday's may be required in the future. Must be able to multi-task effortlessly and work under pressure as required to meet shipping schedules. Must also be very detail oriented to assure proper routing of customer shipments and packages. These positions would be ideal for a retired or semi-retired individual or student with a flexible schedule. Ability to work in a team environment a must. Must be able to lift and move 35+ lb packages on occasion. Experience in the packing & shipping environment a plus. Highlight of duties include:
Provide excellent, friendly, efficient customer service at all times Assess customer needs and plan for proper packaging of items and situations Determine the best shipping method to meet the specific situation and time frames Package customer items and prepare for shipment. This will include the design and making of custom packaging (boxes) for certain items. Operate basic office equipment e.g. copier, fax and be moderately proficient with general PC software '
