Eustis Position Overview The Machine Operator plays a vital role in daily manufacturing operations by ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting production equipment to maintain optimal performance and consistent output. The Machine Operator works closely with production and quality teams to identify issues, troubleshoot equipment concerns, and support continuous improvement efforts. A strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and focus on quality are essential to success in this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate and monitor industrial manufacturing equipment in compliance with established procedures and safety standards. Adjust machine settings, including temperature, airflow, and other controls, to ensure optimal production results. Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with quality requirements and report any discrepancies. Perform routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting to support efficient operations. Work collaboratively with production and quality control teams to quickly resolve process or equipment issues. Accurately document production cycles, equipment performance, adjustments, and incidents. Adhere to all safety policies and actively participate in safety training initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one (1) year of experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control practices. Ability to read and understand technical documents, procedures, and equipment manuals. Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required. Experience with carriers, freight scheduling, or inventory management systems. Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment, preferably within food or beverage production. Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and quality and safety standards. Fluency in English required. Preferred Qualifications Certification or formal training in industrial equipment operation or manufacturing processes. Experience with process improvement and equipment troubleshooting. Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and best practices. Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors. Physical Requirements This role requires regular sitting, standing, and walking, as well as the use of hands and fingers for equipment operation. The employee must be able to speak and hear effectively and may be required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eustis, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
