Our Opening and Your Responsibilities The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory levels, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production. They coordinate with internal suppliers, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
What you will do:
Prepare and kit low-complexity orders using an Radio Frequency device, including tasks related to sub-assemblies and metal detection, while ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately included. Perform Quality at The Source when staging materials. Utilize the disturbance tracker. Utilize the missing parts list to document and identify any part shortages. Ensure the areas are clean, neat and organized at all times in accordance with our 5s guidelines Manually unload incoming small parcels and materials, utilizing pallet jacks when necessary. Verify that quantities match packing slips and label all materials accordingly. Maintain organized records of all receiving transactions, including packing slips, delivery notes, and invoices. Support inventory accuracy. Knowledge of all established material pickup and drop off locations. Operate a manual pallet jack. Confirm all transactions using a RF device and ensure items are accurately tagged and staged in their designated locations and execute bin-to-bin movements. Utilize Kaizen Newspaper to identify continuous improvement (CI) opportunities. Assist with Cycle Counting. Other duties and tasks as assigned. Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, push, pull for long periods throughout the day and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs. Must be organized and able to multi-task. Possesses high energy level. Ability to consistently meet set expectations. Ability to work overtime. This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
