The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, documenting, and organizing incoming materials and products while ensuring inventory records remain accurate. This role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers, carriers, procurement, inventory, and operations teams. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, product specifications, and condition against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents. Inspect products and materials for damage, shortages, overages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly. Accurately enter receiving information into NetSuite or other ERP/Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Label, identify, and properly stage or put away received materials in designated warehouse locations. Coordinate with procurement, inventory, logistics, and operations teams to resolve receiving discrepancies. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, verifying freight, and preparing materials for internal distribution. Maintain accurate receiving records, documentation, and transaction logs. Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives as needed. Follow established procedures for material handling, product identification, storage, and warehouse organization. Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when trained and authorized. Ensure received products are stored safely and efficiently while maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Communicate with vendors and carriers regarding delivery discrepancies, damaged shipments, missing items, and documentation issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on receiving accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and process optimization. Follow all company safety policies and applicable regulations related to warehouse operations, forklift operation, lifting, and material handling. Requirements Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, distribution, or a related environment. Experience using NetSuite, ERP, WMS, or similar warehouse/inventory management systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when receiving and documenting materials. Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation. Basic understanding of inventory control, warehouse procedures, and shipping/receiving processes. Ability to identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect products. Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading materials as required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with procurement, logistics, inventory, finance, and operations teams. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus. Forklift certification or willingness to complete required training is preferred.
