Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate with forklift and inventory experience to support fulfillment and warehouse operations at our Merritt Island, FL facility. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in receiving, inventory control, shipping, and warehouse operations who thrive in a fast-paced environment. The work site is an active construction environment, so strict adherence to safety procedures is essential.
Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Perform receiving, put-away, inventory counting, and cycle counting activities. Pick, kit, package, label, and stage materials for production and shipment. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management and inventory systems. Operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, electric pallet jacks (EPJs), reach trucks, and other material handling equipment. Safely move materials, pallets, crates, and components throughout the facility. Complete shipping documentation and data entry accurately. Perform quality inspections and ensure all materials are properly identified and labeled. Store materials according to established procedures and conduct inventory audits. Identify process issues, escalate concerns, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or inventory experience. Previous forklift operating experience (certification preferred). Experience with receiving, shipping, inventory control, cycle counting, or material handling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Basic computer and data entry skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in an active construction environment while following strict safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, or industrial warehouse environments. Experience reading or working with Bills of Materials (BOMs). Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory management software.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
