The Wine Operations Associate is responsible for handling the day-to-day flow of inventory, product processing, storage organization, and order fulfillment. This role is essential to the operation of the business and requires someone who is proactive, efficient, organized, and able to work carefully in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters.Responsibilities:
Receiving & Processing Inventory o Receive and inspect wine deliveries from distributors and importers. o Verify that all arriving products are correct, undamaged, and match purchase orders/invoices. o Review pricing on incoming inventory and update the system accordingly when costs or retail pricing changes. o Process incoming merchandise into the inventory system. Product Creation & Website Maintenance o Create and maintain product listings in the system. o Ensure wine names, vintages, producers, regions, and product descriptions are entered accurately. o Add appropriate tags, categories, pricing, and product details. o Take product photos for the website. o Ensure barcode labels, pricing labels, and Vinonueva stickers are applied to all bottles. Storage & Inventory Organization o Organize and maintain wine storage areas efficiently. o Continuously adapt storage layouts as inventory changes. o Keep track of where all products are located. o Maintain cleanliness and organization of all inventory areas. o Restock the retail shop daily and ensure displays remain full and organized following the pricing system in place. Operations & Problem Solving o Identify discrepancies, inventory inconsistencies, or operational issues and resolve them proactively. o Continuously improve organization and storage systems to maximize efficiency and workflow. o Prioritize daily operational tasks based on incoming inventory, fulfillment deadlines, and shop needs. o Maintain accuracy across both physical inventory and online systems in a constantly changing environment. o Anticipate operational needs and help maintain smooth day-to-day workflow. Order Fulfillment & Logistics o Review and process online orders. o Prepare orders for shipping, local delivery, or customer pickup. o Accurately fulfill and package customer orders by following established checkpoints and procedures to avoid fulfillment errors. o Coordinate and organize local delivery routes efficiently. o Monitor shipping supplies and fulfillment materials inventory. o Prepare and wrap wine gifts with strong attention to presentation and detail. o Ensure gifting and packaging standards reflect the Vinonueva customer experience. Customer Service & Order Support o Communicate with customers regarding order confirmations, pickup details, shipping information, or address verification when needed. o Provide professional, friendly, and detail-oriented customer service at all times. o Help ensure a smooth and positive customer experience through clear communication and accurate order handling.Collaborations:
o Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting colleagues and business operations as needed. o Help maintain an efficient workflow between the storage, retail, online, and delivery sides of the business.Schedule:

ABOUT YOU
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with inventory systems and technology. Ability to lift and move wine cases regularly. Strong sense of responsibility and accuracy. Ability to work independently and proactively. Previous experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, logistics, retail operations, preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.Pay:
