Receiving Clerk for Aviation MRO shop A Professional Aviation Services Corp Miami, FL Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Packing Computer literacy Logistics English High school diploma or GED Shipping & receiving Warehouse experience Full Job Description Overview The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, and processing incoming aircraft parts, materials, tools, and supplies in support of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. This position ensures all incoming inventory complies with FAA regulations, company procedures, and customer requirements while maintaining accurate records and inventory control. Responsibilities Receive incoming aircraft parts, components, tooling, and materials. Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation. Inspect incoming items for damage, quantity accuracy, shelf life, and certification paperwork.

forms Certificates of Conformance (C of C) Airworthiness certificates Material certifications Enter receiving data into inventory management or ERP systems. Label, tag, and route materials to appropriate stock or work areas. Coordinate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged shipments with purchasing, quality assurance, and vendors. Maintain organized receiving and storage areas in accordance with safety and regulatory standards. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits. Support shipping activities as needed, including packaging and preparing outbound materials. Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, FAA regulations, and safety policies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred. Aviation, aerospace, or MRO experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with FAA documentation and aircraft parts traceability preferred. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or ERP software. Ability to read and understand shipping documents, purchase orders, and aviation certifications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks preferred. Previous receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred. Aviation, aerospace, or MRO experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with FAA documentation and aircraft parts traceability preferred. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or ERP software. Ability to read and understand shipping documents, purchase orders, and aviation certifications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
