In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all items are correctly received, stored, and dispatched. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, order fulfillment, and equipment operation will contribute to seamless warehouse distribution operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills in shipping & receiving, inventory management, and logistics will drive operational excellence. Duties Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and completeness Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders with precision using order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and load/unload equipment Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely to load and unload trucks, move stock within the warehouse, and maintain organized storage areas Maintain accurate inventory records through AS400 or other MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems, updating stock levels in real-time Assist with order fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment Ensure proper packaging standards are followed to prevent damage during transit while optimizing space utilization on pallets or containers Stock shelves efficiently by replenishing inventory from receiving areas while adhering to safety protocols and warehouse distribution procedures Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and stocking Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and MRPs confidently and safely Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and calculating weights or dimensions for shipments Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory records Physical ability to lift heavy packages regularly and stand or walk for extended periods during shifts Warehouse experience in distribution centers or e-commerce environments is highly preferred Join us as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to play a crucial role in our logistics chain!
