Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will assist the Shipping department with both inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. Experience with warehouse systems, RF scanners, and equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks is preferred. This role plays a vital part in timely delivery and stock accuracy. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using RF scanners and warehouse systems (WMS) Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately for dispatch Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload goods safely Maintain accurate inventory records within
MRP/AS400
systems Stock shelves and organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space utilization Assist with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and improve operational workflows Experience Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in shipping & receiving operations Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems such as AS400 or MRP systems Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers is a plus Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities Knowledge of RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking shipments and stock movements Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Must have computer skills Must be able to lift 50lbs This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment where safety, accuracy, and efficiency are paramount.
