Full‑Time Position Summary A well‑established equipment distribution company in Sarasota is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of inventory while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. This position offers steady first‑shift hours, weekly pay, and a full benefits package. Key Responsibilities Receive and process inbound shipments via small parcel carriers, LTL freight, and company trucks Verify shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper documentation Enter receipts and inventory movements accurately into the warehouse system Perform product put‑away and maintain accurate bin and location assignments Process customer returns and internal stock transfers Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse workspace Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts Maintain adequate supplies of boxes, labels, and packing materials Work collaboratively with warehouse and operations team members Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks Basic computer skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
