Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Gate Clerk to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. In this vital role, you will manage access control at the facility's entry points, ensuring smooth and secure movement of personnel, shipments, and equipment. Your responsibilities will include verifying inbound and outbound deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall warehouse distribution activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, security, and compliance across all processes. Duties Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and carriers at the gatehouse or entry points Verify shipment documentation and process inbound and outbound deliveries using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RFID scanners Assist with shipping logistics, including loading and unloading trucks, pallet jacking, and order picking Maintain accurate records of all transactions through data entry into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as AS400 or similar software Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and updating inventory management software Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards during shipping & receiving activities Collaborate with warehouse teams to facilitate order fulfillment, packaging, and stocking processes Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and RF scanner operation Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment processing Valid certification for forklift operation, reach truck, or other warehouse equipment preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting purposes Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with internal teams and external carriers Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is a plus Prior experience with ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software is advantageous Join us as a Gate Clerk to play a crucial role in maintaining seamless warehouse distribution operations while ensuring security, accuracy, and compliance. Pay:
$20.06 - $21.57 per hour
