We're Hiring! Our E-Commerce Team is looking for a Shipping and Support Associate to join us! In this role, you'll help pack and ship customer orders, support customers with questions, and pitch in with day-to-day tasks to keep things running smoothly. Job Summary:
The E-Commerce Shipping & Support Associate is responsible for packing and shipping E-Commerce customer orders, assisting customers, performing E-Commerce department support-related duties, and providing support and guidance to persons served within that area of operation.

Experience:
High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Acceptable criminal background check Strong customer service skills. Must have reliable transportation. Must have strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Must be able to read, write, and communicate In English in order to navigate websites and respond to customers. Ability to learn basic computer skills using MS Office and the shopgoodwill.com website.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick, pack, and ship Shopgoodwill.com orders and book orders. Use the Upright Lister PC and mobile applications to perform shipping related duties. Maintain high level of care in packing items to ensure they are not damaged in shipping. Print shipping labels and properly apply them to packages ready to be shipped. Transport packages ready to ship to the designated pickup area and after-hours pickup orders to the retail store. Pick and reshelve in-store pickup orders ready to be picked up. Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally and courteously with in-store pickups. Respond to customer inquiries through the Shopgoodwill customer service ticket system, email, and phone. Purge unsold merchandise using the Upright Lister mobile application. Monitor Amazon and eBay websites for book-related customer inquiries, shipping requests, and order cancellation requests. Respond to customers as needed. Move incoming and outgoing product to designated areas in the E-Commerce department and building using a pallet jack and forklift. List books for sale Amazon, eBay, and GoodwillBooks.com using the NextShelf inventory management system. Shelve listed books to designated area. Perform departmental support-related duties, including emptying garbage bins, sweeping, vacuuming shelves, etc. Market Goodwill's mission to the public, persons served, and all others with whom you have contact while working.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Represents Goodwill in a professional and positive manner. Act as a role model for persons served, including interacting with them with respect and dignity at all times, even when they do not show the same to you. Provide follow-up with persons served and Mission staff. Demonstrate the ability to treat others with dignity and respect. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Communicate clearly and effectively. Other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
MEDIUM Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Frequently unloading trucks, walking, bending, standing.
MENTAL DEMANDS
Problem-solving, dealing with stressful situation, decision-making, communication with others, planning, organizing, writing.
MODERATE
: Occasionally exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
