Job Description
Position Summary Our shipping clerks receive parts to print; stock them in preferred locations, pick parts from picklist and prepare them for shipment. General Duties Pick, pack, and prepare the product for shipment in an efficient manner ensuring that the correct quantity type of product is picked, packed, and prepared for shipment Pick parts ensuring the quantity and part match the order Prepare product for shipment by loading and sealing boxes Weigh boxes and prepare labels when necessary Load, Unload, Lift, Lower, and Stage pallets, tubs, and other products (palletized and non-palletized) Perform light quality control and report quality variances Input and Retrieve data to assigned bar code units Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods Requirements Must have a valid driver's license Must pass company lift truck certification Experience running a forklift is preferred Must possess basic computer skills Must work well independently and in a team situation Must be quality and safety-oriented Must have high attention to detail and a sense of urgency Ability to compute basic mathematics Ability to ready, comprehend, follow and apply work instructions and procedures Accurate problem identification and solving skills are preferred
