Shipping Associate 516 Main St Salmon, ID 83467 Essential Functions of the applicant: Ability to stand during the entire shift. Ability to move and lift 50-75lbs on regular basis throughout the shift. Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees. Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members. To function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure. Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time. Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions. Oversee store's maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization. Ensures proper display of all retail area product and signage. Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion. Able to processes cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register. Assemble, address, stamp and ship all merchandise and or material. Perform administrative duties as assigned. Operating POS system, fax machine, laminating machines. Balancing cash registers, scanning and processing items. Deliver excellent customer service to all retail customers. Processing packages for courier shipment. Mail-room processing. Provides accurate information on our array of products, services and best-value options. Exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry. Strong interpersonal skills, effective oral/written communication skills. Ability to work well with others. Performs other duties as assigned Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
