Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Associate for the 2nd shift to join our warehouse team. The 3rd shift includes a 10% shift premium. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods, supporting order fulfillment, inventory management, and overall S&R operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse setting, forklift operation, and shipping & receiving processes. Responsibilities Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks to ensure safe handling of goods. Performs weigh-in and shipping functions according to documented work instructions. Ensures that all paperwork is complete and properly filled out before shipping. Reviews all shop order instructions, customer paperwork and appropriate charts to ensure all product conforms to the customer's specifications; Identify and tag all incoming orders per work instructions, electronically create orders, move product to designated areas; Load and unload trucks using hands or mechanical means within safety standards. Maintains all work areas to ensure that they are always clean and organized; Must pass certification requirements to be a licensed fork-lift operator. Perform other duties as may be assigned by departmental supervisors. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving preferred Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately. Read/write English.
