• 11:00 PM Industry warehousing & distribution (Transportation and Material Moving Occupations) Reference number S_174641 We are looking for a disciplined Shipping and Receiving Clerk for warehouse operations in Decatur, IL.

This role focuses on the manual handling, verification, and systematic tracking of high-value inventory. You will be responsible for ensuring that all goods moving through the facility are accounted for and prepared for transport

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter shipment data into the inventory management system.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving records, including invoices and packing slips.
• Coordinate with vendors and carriers to track shipments and resolve discrepancies.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain organized records of all transactions and inventory updates.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, excluding forklift or power jack operation Follow 5S protocols to maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading dock.

• 1-2 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or logistics role
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling ...

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• Proficient computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and instructions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Frequent walking throughout the warehouse and facility
