Join our team at Silesia Flavors Inc. we can help you get a career as a Logistics Operator. We are looking for a full-time non-exempt Logistics Operator. To follow duties on a daily basis as outline by Shipping & Receiving Manager to create a safe and efficient working environment putting the needs of completing duties in a timely manner with the intent of servicing the customer as the priority while maintaining a safe environment.

Scheduled Hours:

M-F 8:00-4:30

Salary:

$21.00 per hour Responsibilities Prioritize of shipping customer orders Loading of trucks making sure that proper paper is ready, and that the truck has been inspected for cleanliness and is odor free before placing product Shipping of R D, QC, Confectionery and Beverage lab samples and project requests Receive raw materials and take samples for QC analysis Put stock away when released by QC Make sure that logs, maintenance of equipment, housekeeping, and segregation of materials is kept current. Follow daily housekeeping schedule as setup by Shipping and Receiving Manager. Maintain an understanding of and apply hazmat shipping procedures and applicable safety protocol. Follow all Security procedures for visitors Help co-worker with issues he/she may have in performing daily duties Take an active role in making sure that the working environment remains a safe environment for you and co-workers Follow all training and guidelines set up Silesia Flavors for your safety and the safety of getting a safe and good product to our customers

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED 1-2 years' experience in shipping and receiving Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 lbs. Skills Excellent organizational skills Good communication skills Consistent attendance is a requirement
