7:00am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Shipping / Receiving Clerk position available at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.Shipping / Receiving
Clerk Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Process all incoming and outgoing deliveries using RF scanner, forklift and completing proper documentation.
- Use sit-down and stand-up forklift (reach truck) or pallet jack to load and unload orders on to semi-trucks.
- Check in customer's orders and notate that they have been received.
- Move material around facility and adjust inventory levels.
- Move finished material to loading bay.
- Must have legible writing.
- Inspect packages and boxes for correct counts and validations.
- Utilization of FedEx and UPS shipping programs.
Receiving Clerk Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience preferred-more than one year.
- Must be able to follow supervisor's orders and directives.
- Must be company certified before the employee starts to drive the forklift.
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand English for safety purposes.
- Must have the ability to get along with others and work in a team environment.
- Must be able to handle a variety of tasks, some of which are tedious.
- Must be organized.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continuously throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach on a regular basis throughout the entire shift.
