Duties Prepare, package, and label shipments accurately using appropriate materials and techniques to meet quality standards. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load and unload goods efficiently. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, and inventory management software to track stock levels, process orders, and update records in real-time. Conduct data entry for shipping documentation, inventory updates, and order processing with precision. Coordinate with carriers for pick-up schedules, tracking shipments from dispatch to delivery while ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade laws. Maintain organized storage areas by stocking items properly and ensuring accurate inventory counts through regular audits. Support order fulfillment activities including picking & packing orders accurately for both domestic and international customers. Assist in maintaining safety standards during load & unload procedures while operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks responsibly. Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping issues promptly and provide updates on order status. Ensure all shipping & receiving activities adhere to company policies, trade compliance requirements, and logistics best practices. Experience Proven experience working in warehouse operations or a shipping & receiving environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment; forklift certification is preferred. Strong understanding of shipping logistics including order picking & packing, load & unload procedures, and international trade regulations. Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel for data entry and reporting purposes. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, carriers, and clients.
