Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.

Job Description

Purpose of Position:
The 2nd shift Shipping Technician will contribute to the success of the Shipping Department by pulling orders for our customers and transferring into the shipping system following all Moriroku Technology North America (MTNA) policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions Split orders down to match load plan Create MTNA's load plan for Shipping Modify orders to customer request Organize and file documents Communication with customers and internal Production Management and scheduling Complete MIA forms (Missing in Action) Participate during all Finished Goods Inventories Other duties as assigned by management Experience and Knowledge Strong knowledge of Microsoft office programs (Excel) Skills Systems and continuous improvement orientation Quality orientated and attention to detail Problem analysis and resolution Aware of consequences to the customer, environment and the employee, if procedures are not followed. Strong communication and teamwork skills Strong math skills Strong organizational skills Stand/walk at least 8 hrs. a day Overtime may be required Bend, stoop, or kneel Repetitive motion Lift up to 50 lbs.
