POSITION SUMMARY
The E-Commerce Associate supports the daily operations of the organization's online resale program, with a primary focus on eBay listings. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality item listings, accurately tracking inventory, and assisting with shipping preparation. The position helps ensure that merchandise is presented effectively online, that workflows remain organized and efficient, and that sales contribute to the organization's revenue growth and mission impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
include but are not limited to: Address daily e-commerce needs and, when appropriate, communicate concerns to the Director of Marketing, Media, & E-Commerce. Review and evaluate items selected for e-commerce resale. Capture high-quality photos (and videos when applicable) of items for online listings and promotional use. Create and update online listings with competitive pricing, accurate descriptions, and SEO-optimized titles. Assist with operating and managing the organization's online resale accounts. This role currently focuses on eBay listings, with potential expansion to additional platforms, including Depop, Mercari, Poshmark, ThriftBooks, and other resale platforms as needed. Record all listings and related item information within designated inventory and sales tracking spreadsheets. Package sold items securely and assist with preparing shipments. Transport sold items to the post office for shipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the e-commerce workspace and inventory areas. Follow established workflows and meet productivity expectations related to listing creation, photography, reporting updates, and shipping preparation. Perform other duties as assigned to support the growth and success of the organization's e-commerce program.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience using spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel) for tracking data and maintaining organized records is required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and handle confidential information with integrity in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to take professional-quality photos and videos. Basic proficiency in spreadsheets and data tracking (Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel required). Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift at least 20lbs. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods. Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to transport items.
