Scheduling Keyer-Indianapolis, IN 2nd Shift Scheduling Keyer Materials is a key part of our business. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, a Scheduling Keyer is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in materials.
What You Will Do:
Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials within the facility to support production schedules and customer orders. Accurately enter inventory transactions into ERP/MRP systems or scanning devices to maintain inventory accuracy. Perform cycle counts, assist with physical invenotries, and reconcile discrepancies, reporting issues to supervisors. Maintain accurate inventory and material movement documentation, supporting quality assurance and root cause analysis. Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to resolve issues and improve processes. Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime when needed, cross-training in other areas, and adapting to new technologies or processes. What You Need to
Succeed:
High School Diploma or GED required. Min. Yrs.
Experience:
1-3 in a manufacturing/distribution environment Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated Must have basic product knowledge of finishes, substrates, etc. Basic understand of Microsoft Dynamics AX Knowledge of plant receiving and materials movement processes In addition, you ideally bring an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment, but if not, we will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful!
