Job Description

Adecco is actively recruiting for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will support warehouse operations by receiving, checking, storing, issuing, packing, and shipping materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all plant and corporate safety policies and procedures. Assist in other areas and perform additional duties as needed to support business demands. Verify shipping counts against packing documents and help resolve discrepancies. Follow established processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and verbal directions. Identify and report discrepancies between incoming shipments and supporting documentation. Pack customer products according to specifications and quality standards. Receive, inspect, and unpack customer deliveries. Identify visible defects or damage in customer products. Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against packing slips and related documentation. Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to work with standardized procedures. Ability to distinguish between the colors red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and violet. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to meet vision requirements with or without corrective lenses. High level of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience is preferred but not required. Pay Details:
