Who We AreAt 80 Acres Farms, we're on a mission to change the way the world eatsand we're looking for people who want to help us do it.
We grow pesticide-free salads, herbs, microgreens, and salad kits in smart vertical farms that produce more food with far fewer resourcesusing up to 95% less water and renewable electricity, with no reliance on weather or seasons. Our produce is available in more than 17,000 retail locations nationwide, including Kroger, Whole Foods, HEB, and The Fresh Market, and reaches food service partners across the country year-round.
What makes this possible is a combination of people, technology, and purpose. Our proprietary growing platform, developed by our technology subsidiary, Infinite Acres, provides our teams with real-time data and control over every aspect of the growing environmentmaking our farms among the most advanced in the world. We operate commercial farms in Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, and Colorado, packhouses in Indiana, Virginia, and Washington, and research and development facilities in Arkansas, Israel, and the Netherlands.
We've grown significantly through the acquisitions of Kalera and Soli Organic, and we're just getting started.

The Impact Youll MakeWe are looking for a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position is responsible for all shipping & receiving needs within our company and our farm locations. To be successful in this role the candidate will be able to work independently and within a team. We work together as a team daily and value dependability and reliability. Our team completes their DOT Driver certification through the company upon hire.
What Youll Be Responsible ForUnload shipment as necessary and route goods to appropriate storage areasEnsure proper paperwork and inspect the quality of goods when receivingEnsure that each received item has arrived at the appropriate location and is accounted forOrganize storage area daily to insure FIFO method is followed (First in first out)Picking finished product required to fulfill customer orderDevelop mailing and shipping labels for outgoing productsDetermine the method of shipment, prepare bills, invoices, etc.
Organize customer orders for easy shippingMay operate machinery when loading, unloading, and transporting goodsEnsure proper and reliable communication with suppliers and sales teamManage inventory/organization within storage areas to ensure safety and accountabilityTransport product; Drive a box truckOther duties as assignedWhat You BringExperience with a box truck and forklift driving or willingness to learnAbility to operate machinery, use a ladder, & lift 50 lbs.
Valid drivers license Ability to pass a DOT physical & certification Box truck driving experience is a plusSpecialized knowledge, skills and abilities:
