A Shipping or Receiving Clerk tracks all incoming and/or outgoing shipments at a company facility and checks that shipment orders are filled correctly. Uses scanning equipment to track inventory. Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.
Support accurate and efficient prescription fulfillment in a fast-paced, semi-automated pharmacy distribution environment. This role helps ensure prescriptions are packed, sorted, and shipped correctly and on time to retail pharmacies and end customers. Success requires consistent accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
KEY DUTIES
Pack, sort, and ship prescriptions accurately and efficiently according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Use supported hardware, software, and computer-generated screens to identify, select, pack, and sort the correct items. Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality while working in a fast-paced production environment. Perform housekeeping and other assigned duties while supporting team productivity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math, reading, writing, and computer-screen navigation skills. Ability to maintain accuracy, stay on task, follow SOPs, and work effectively as part of a team.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Onsite, climate-controlled, semi-automated production environment. Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. Able to consistently carry 20-30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor. Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Previous pharmacy experience. Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach. Ability to learn multiple workstations through cross-training.
