Job Description

Description:
The Shipping Receiving Specialist will work closely with the Shipping Supervisor and other departments to ensure each order goes out the door accurately, on time and in a safe manner. Personnel will process orders by selecting the correct products, packaging and labeling them according to procedures, and will load LTL carriers safely and swiftly. 1st shift 4am-12:30pm Monday-Friday Perfect Attendance & Shift Premium Incentives Position is 1st shift full-time and eligible for benefits after 60 days. RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Shipping Supervisor in the timely and accurate shipment of finished goods to our customers. Route incoming goods to the proper departments. Process receipts of incoming materials. Load and unload trucks and verify accuracy of the paperwork to the product. Report any defects or shortages of incoming materials to the department supervisor. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Fill in as needed in the absence of another employee. Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a high school education and one year of factory related experience in shipping and receiving. Required to read, write in English, follow verbal and written instructions and have good math skills. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Must have some degree of computer knowledge for data entry purposes. Must be trained and certified to operate a forklift.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Required to lift up to 50lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
