We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our innovative team at our Kansas City, KS location.

Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Position Summary:
Shipping Clerk will support warehouse and logistics operations at our Kansas City, KS facility. This position is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming materials, staging and shipping finished goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating transportation as needed. The ideal candidate has prior shipping or warehouse experience that focuses on customer experience, collaboration and safe work practices Primary Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against shipping documentation Stage, package, label, and ship finished goods accurately and on time Move raw materials and finished goods using material handling equipment Maintain inventory accuracy using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading, freight billing, and invoicing Obtain shipping rates and coordinate transportation logistics Ensure shipments are properly packaged, secured, and labeled Enter shipping and receiving transactions into the ERP system Maintain clean and organized warehouse and work areas Perform general office and clerical duties related to shipping and receiving Communicate shipment shortages, damage, or issues to supervision promptly Shipping duties may occasionally include hazardous waste handling (training provided) Additional responsibilities may apply in the absence of the Supervisor , including prioritizing shipments, training employees on procedures, and assisting with warehouse process improvements. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations Experience with transportation logistics and freight coordination Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer use Knowledge of DOT shipping regulations; OSHA and EPA familiarity preferred Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Able to become forklift certified Basic math skills and attention to detail Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs. with assistance Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment Work performed in a warehouse environment with ambient temperatures Why Join Us?
