Schedule:
Full-time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | No weekends Midwest Sign Company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our production and operations team. In this role, you'll manage incoming and outgoing shipments, build crates for large shipments, and help ensure materials and finished products move efficiently through our shop. If you're organized, dependable, and comfortable working with tools in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality Inspect incoming crates for damage and properly document/report any issues Prepare, package, and crate outgoing orders for shipment (including building custom crates) Use power tools to build crates and assist with packaging large or complex items Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other equipment Maintain a digital log of all incoming and outgoing shipments using Monday.com Coordinate and communicate with sales staff regarding project shipments and timelines Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas Ensure all materials are handled safely and stored properly Keep the workspace clean and organized What We're Looking For Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred Experience with power tools required Forklift experience required; certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable using computers and digital systems for tracking (experience with Monday.com a plus) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
