Job Description

Monday-Friday, First (0800-1630) - Pay - $17.50/HR ON W2 The Shipping Specialist is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping clinical specimens, laboratory materials, and supplies while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. The role involves processing domestic and international shipments, maintaining chain of custody, and preparing temperature-controlled shipments using cold-chain methods such as dry ice and liquid nitrogen. Responsibilities include verifying shipment documentation, labels, and packaging, coordinating courier pickups, and tracking shipments through shipping software and LIMS. The position requires adherence to GMP, SOPs, IATA, and DOT regulations while maintaining detailed shipping records and inventory. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to work safely in a laboratory environment while handling temperature-sensitive materials and lifting up to 50 lbs.
