Job Description

The Shipping Associate performs functions within Bonfiglioli USA to meet on time delivery with attention to safety and quality.
Available Shift:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
Principle Accountabilities/Targets:
Complete orders on time Pack and Ship orders per delivery dates on paperwork and per targets provided by the Shipping Lead and/or Dept. Manager Zero safety incedents Adhernce to Safety Regulations within the workplace Understands Material Safety Data Sheets for proper handling and disposal of any hazardous chemicals used in their department Accuracy of work: correct labelling, packaging, destination, product, quantity, ship method, ASN, freight loading and any other requirements Accountable to performing duties as per documented in the standard work instructions Organized workplace Daily, weekly, and monthly 5S activities
Education/Experience/Requirements:
Basic reading, writing and math skills; high school diploma or equivalent; trade school acceptable Familiarity with or open to learning various type of material handling equipment Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects. Ability to handle and lift 30 pounds; bending and stretching Ability to work in a team environment Basic knowledge of computer usage Occasional spontaneous overtime required to support company requirements Maintain acceptable attendance record and promptness to work and within assigned work station; reliable, strong work ethic Ability to respond to constructive criticism and direction in a positive manner; open minded, positive attitude and willing to learn and listen Good verbal and written communication skills Performs other duties, responsibilities and activities as may be required or requested by lead or manager.
