$20+/hour, based on experience

Full-Time 1st shift 40 hours a week with OT when needed Position Overview Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing company seeking an Aerospace Shipping Clerk to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and administrative operations within its warehouse and production facility. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires basic computer skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to safely handle and move materials. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate records of orders and shipments. Receive incoming materials, products, packages, and deliveries. Inspect and process incoming shipments in accordance with company procedures. Store, organize, and issue materials and supplies as needed. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control. Keep stock and warehouse areas clean, organized, and orderly. Distribute packages, letters, and materials throughout the facility as needed. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently. Assist with loading, unloading, securing, and moving materials. Complete administrative and warehouse-related tasks as assigned. Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter and maintain information. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts. Ability to lift and move materials weighing 45-60 lbs. individually . Ability to perform buddy lifts of materials weighing up to 120 lbs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and administrative abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent work schedule. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or material-handling experience. Previous manufacturing or aerospace industry experience. Forklift certification or demonstrated experience operating a forklift. Professional Attributes Customer-focused and service-oriented. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Maintains professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the position. Physical Requirements This is a very active position requiring employees to regularly: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb. Lift and move materials weighing 45-60 lbs. individually . Perform buddy lifts of materials weighing up to 120 lbs. Operate warehouse equipment and work around moving machinery. Perform occasional outdoor receiving and loading activities. Employees must also have the ability to perform tasks requiring close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment Manufacturing and fabrication shop environment with exposure to dirt, dust, and noise. Potential exposure to hot and cold temperatures. Exposure to solvents and electrical energy. Work around machinery and moving equipment. Occasional outdoor work receiving shipments or securing loads in various weather conditions. Frequent collaboration with warehouse, production, and management teams. Overtime may be required based on business demand and management discretion.
