  Shipping and Receiving Specialist
• Job Description
• Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist. You will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, working in either the shipping or receiving areas. Your main duties will include packaging and shipping electrical supplies, ranging from small labeled parts to large electrical spools. You will ensure these are processed for inventory or shipped out to clients efficiently.
• Responsibilities
• + Package and ship electrical supplies, ensuring accurate labeling and inventory processing. + Unload trucks and load products onto trucks or flatbeds. + Input products into the computer system using basic scanner and computer skills. + Set up shipments, coordinate with vendors, and track inventory using computer systems. + Unpack and pack all orders, verifying the accuracy of items.
• Essential Skills
• + Proficiency in inventory management, shipping, and receiving. + Experience in picking, packing, loading, and unloading. + Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift. + Experience with RF scanners, material handling, and data entry. + Familiarity with SAP and inventory control systems. + Basic computer skills and cycle counting.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
